This holiday season, we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary of our Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive in partnership with ABC’s Good Morning America and the national non-profit organization, K.I.D.S/Fashion Delivers.
Burlington has donated more than 1.6 million coats to help those in need stay warm within our local store communities.
You can easily get involved by donating a gently worn coat at any Burlington from November 14 through January 23rd. All coats stay locally within their community, and as our thank you, those who donate receive 10% off their entire purchase!
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk Campaign
We have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk campaign for the past 15 years in their fight against blood cancers. Burlington has raised more than $27million for research and life –saving treatments for those affected by blood cancers.

WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women and for the past five years, Burlington has partnered with WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease to help increase awareness of and education about the importance of women’s heart health.
Burlington has donated over $6 million and has provided free heart health screenings to thousands of customers nationwide.
Burlington is pleased to partner with DonorsChoose.org, a web-based national non-profit organization dedicated to providing teachers with an opportunity to post projects for consumers to fund so students could have a more valued learning experience.
Over the past two years, stores have raised over $1.8 million. Donations funded more than 3,000 teacher posted projects, benefitting 100,000 students nationwide.
August 2016 marked the first year of our back pack drive, #GiveBackPacks, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of America. Customers were asked to donate new or gently-used backpacks to local Boys & Girls Clubs around Burlington’s store locations nationwide. As a result, stores collected more than
16,000 backpacks were collected and donated to Clubs all across the country so that children could have a great start to the school year. Burlington also funded $150,000 worth of back pack projects on DonorsChoose.org.
Burlington Gives Back
This program was established in 2012 and is dedicated to donating new sample merchandise to local non-profit organizations in communities where we open new stores.
Burlington has donated thousands of pallets of new merchandise to hundreds of local agencies nationwide.
Natural Disaster Relief
When unfortunate natural disasters occur, such as Hurricane Sandy, the Nepal earthquake, the Oklahoma tornadoes, the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific and many more, Burlington responds by donating funds and /or new merchandise to non-profit organization assisting those most affected, such as the America Red Cross or K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. Millions of dollars have been raised for organizations serving those affected in these communities.
