Survivor Stories

 Aaron

Aaron was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on March 28, 2011. He received treatment for three and a half years and continues to get blood checks every six months. Aaron is 11 years old, is in the sixth grade and is an excellent student. He loves math and learning new things. Aaron's older sister Ashley is his best friend, every day you can find them swimming together. Aaron loves soccer and dreams to become a professional soccer player someday.

 Sienna Rose

Sienna Rose was diagnosed with leukemia in November 2015 at two and a half years old and thankfully has been in remission since February 2016. This year marks three years since Sienna Rose reached REMISSION. After two and a half years of intense chemotherapy treatments, two surgeries, bone marrow aspirations, blood and platelet transfusions, hospital admissions for reactions to chemotherapy, as well as PICU admission, February 28, 2018 was her last chemotherapy treatment and March 2019 was her final bone marrow aspiration. Sienna continues to be monitored with blood work every three months. Her strength and amazing smile got her family through the most difficult days and she and her family are incredibly happy that she's doing so well.
