Burlington – Purchase Orders – Routing Update

Earlier this year, Burlington updated processes and began sending purchase orders with a Ship Window (Start Ship/Ship Cancel). This change was put in place to better align with the industry standard of PO shipping terms and to simplify the freight routing process via our Transportation Management System (TMS). As we continue to improve this process, we want to make you aware of the following changes that are being implemented as of October 23, 2022:

  • Routing must be submitted at least three business days prior to the Vendor Ready to Ship date.
  • As a Reminder: The Ready to Ship date that is entered should be no earlier than the Start Ship date and no later than the Ship Cancel date
